Get onto the FAST TRACK to Financial Success!

Get on the FAST TRACK to Financial Success!
Do you have financial goals at the moment? Have you written them down with a clear plan to achieve them? In the pressure of simply living and making money, many people never take the time to plan their lives. This is particularly true of their finances.

Why have financial goals?
It takes some thought to create goals for our financial future so is it worth the effort? The answer is a resounding “Yes!” In his book What They Don't Teach You in the Harvard Business School, Mark McCormack describes a study conducted on students in the 1979 Harvard MBA program. The students were asked, "Have you set clear, written goals for your future and made plans to accomplish them?" Only three per cent of the graduates had written goals and plans; 13 per cent had goals, but they were not written down; and a full 84 per cent had no specific goals at all.
Ten years later, the members of the class were interviewed again. The findings, while somewhat predictable, were still amazing. The 13 per cent of the class who had goals were earning, on average, twice as much as the 84 per cent who had no goals at all. And the 3 per cent who had clear, written goals were earning, on average, ten times as much as the other 97 per cent put together!
This is certainly powerful proof of the value of having clear, measurable, time-bounded goals that you work towards.

So What is Your Route to Wealth?
Whatever means of wealth creation you choose, you need to ensure it is clearly linked to your vision and goals and that is built into a detailed plan with daily actions.

Alignment
There needs to be complete alignment between what you are seeking and the actions you take. Think of a rowing boat with the 8 rowers all dipping their oars into the water at different times and with differing degrees of strength. Progress would be slow and take huge amounts of effort. Imagine now the same boat where all the oarsmen or women dip their oars in at the same time with equal force. There is alignment and the boat moves rapidly through the water with much less effort.

Vision and Goals
So what is your vision? What sort of lifestyle do you want to live? Where do you want to live? How do you want to spend your time? Look long term - say 20 years and then consider 10 years and 5 years. Then look at one year ahead. What is your compelling reason for creating wealth? If you have a big enough “Why?” you will be far more motivated when the inevitable challenges arise.

Then translate your vision into a goal or goals. Make the goal personal (begin with “I”), write it in the present tense, make it specific and time bound i.e. give it a date.

Strategy and Plans
Then decide on a strategy. There is a great number of possible wealth strategies from which to choose. These include owning your own business, property, share trading, internet marketing or having a very well paid job. Often, people start with one strategy and then move on to add others. You will also need to select sub strategies within each of the above areas to help you to become very proficient at a few limited areas. With trading, for example, are you going to focus on swing trading or day trading? Think too about what you want to trade e.g. currencies, stocks, commodities etc.

Next you need a plan for how you will actually achieve your goal. This is where many people fall down. They fail to decide exactly how on a monthly and weekly basis they will bring their goals into reality. Finally make sure that you translate your plan into daily actions. As a check, ask yourself daily: “Is this task taking me one step closer to my goal/s and ultimately to my vision?” If it is not, ask yourself why you are doing it.

Mindset
You also need to ensure that your mindset is supporting you in being financially successful. For instance, are you unconsciously holding yourself back through any negative beliefs? Examples of such beliefs are “I don’t deserve to be wealthy”, “Making money is very hard” or “Wealthy people are not spiritual”. These beliefs may be held at a very deep, unconscious level but they can stop us in our tracks nevertheless. Sometimes it is necessary to work with a coach to uncover and change such limiting beliefs before you can make real progress towards your financial goals.

Self-Discipline
To be successful you will also need to have self-discipline, laser focus and sound management of your time to follow through on your plan and daily actions.

What is your “weakest link?”
Everyone has elements of what I call the “success mix” as outlined above, which they find easier than others. Maybe you are naturally good at planning but have some beliefs that are holding you back. Alternatively you may have an excellent wealth creation mindset but find it hard to focus on your chosen strategy. The variables are endless. The key is to identify your “weakest link” and work on it to ensure complete alignment between all the elements.

Help is at hand!
If you would like help to identify or work on your “weakest link“ in the “success mix”, please see the information which will appear shortly on my live Goal Powered Financial Success Webinar Series or drop me an email at the address below.

How to Achieve Abundance and Prosperity - The Foundation of Your Wealth Creation Plan

Your wealth creation plan is only as strong as the foundation upon which it is built. And so if you are to achieve the level of abundance and prosperity you desire, that foundation must be solid. With that in mind, here is a set of questions for you to ponder. Are you ready for wealth and riches? Do you have a wealthy mindset? More specifically, do you believe you deserve to be wealthy and that for you to do so is for everyone's good?

Think about those questions for a moment because if you have any hesitation in answering in the affirmative, then you do not have a wealthy mindset and you are not truly ready for wealth. In short, you do not have the mindset and attitude necessary to allow wealth to not only come to you, but to stay with you.

And in the absence of the mindset, you will never be ready for sustainable wealth.

In our society, we are subjected to a lot of subtle (well, actually, not so subtle) negative messages that suggest there is something inherently wrong or inappropriate with wanting to be wealthy, rich and prosperous. And because of this programming, most of us really aren't ready for wealth -- which in large part explains why 97% of us are not wealthy.

The negative programming is inescapable. You attitudes towards wealth and money are influenced from birth by images and expressions such as "money doesn't grow on trees" or "the filthy rich". You are taught that you must "work hard" for your money if you are to deserve it at all.

Yet, it is completely normal and natural to desire to be rich or wealthy or prosperous. This is a normal expression of the desire for expansion, which is inherent in all things. You must grow or you must die. As a society, we seem prepared to accept the idea of growth and expansion as noble in most areas, but not necessarily when it comes to wealth and money.

Isn't that interesting?

We carry beliefs around with us that in fact serve to sabotage our efforts to create wealth and build a life of inspired abundance. Underneath it all, most of us feel it's wrong to want to be rich and that we don't deserve it. For most of us then, the road to wealth and freedom begins with letting go of the notion that we're somehow unworthy or that we should feel ashamed if we desire to become rich.

That is the reason that the foundation of your wealth creation plan must begin with developing a healthy wealth mindset. It means developing an understanding of what being rich and wealthy really is for you because it need not be exclusively about money. However, as Wallace Wattles points out in his classic book The Science of Getting Rich, you have an inalienable right to be rich in all aspects of your life. The person who embraces this right and allows for its balanced expression will have a rich, fulfilling life -- which includes the financial prosperity you desire.

Millionaire Secrets of Wealth Creation - The Millionaire Mindset

Have you ever wondered how some people have become rich and wealthy while the mass of people barely scrape a living? What do millionaires do that most don't. Whatever they are doing it seems to work.

Millionaires have made money because they made the choice to do the things that would bring them money. Becoming wealthy and successful in life is as simple as finding a plan and putting the footwork in. Many people will look for something complicated and never find it and remain poor.

If you wanted to go to somewhere that was a thousand miles from where you are now but you had never been there, then you would need a map and directions. Without a map, you could spend your entire life going around in circles and never get there. You need to find someone who has already found where you want to go and follow the same map as them. Don't try to do it yourself and re-invent the wheel. ego and arrogance will not get you anywhere.

Remember the song 'I did it my way' by Frank Sinatra. Your best thinking got you where you are now. I assume you are not reading this article from your mansion beside the swimming pool. If are you already rich and wealthy and living in a mansion then that is OK, carry on as usual. If not then if you don't change your thinking and put some action in the chances you will still be where you are now in 10 years time.

This is what you need to do:

1. You need a must have or get up and go attitude. The mental attitude or mindset needs to be right. Be positive and enthusiastic.

2. A vehicle or system that will help you achieve it - your car.

3. Put the action in and that means you have to start now.

You have to make your mind up that your life is going to change for the better, now. If you have always put off until tomorrow what you can do today, then riches and success will always be tomorrow and never today. Have you noticed that tomorrow never seems to come and it is always tomorrow that you will get this or that?

When you learn the millionaire secrets of wealth creation that the rich have used for hundreds of years you can attract and manifest what you want in life, people, relationships, money, riches. You choose what you want to manifest. The techniques that the rich have used are very simple. Most of them are not exactly intellectuals, they see things very simply in black and white. Some of them are actually quite dumb.

You have to take action now and find a system that works. Look at successful people. What are they doing that you are not. They have plan/map, they take action and by doing this they create and manifest their own luck. They focus on what they want and do not allow themselves to be distracted.

Creating a Wealth Conscious Mind Set

Creating wealth is a process that takes determination, perseverance, and a commitment to achievement. Wealth is not something that defines your life completely, but it can help you to have the freedom to spend time doing the things you enjoy. Wealth can help you spend more time with your children, develop a hobby, learn more about the world around you, or even travel the world if you so desire. All of these things are possible if you can work on creating a wealth-conscious mind set. Developing this mind set will help you set financial goals and create plans for achieving those goals. When you finally achieve financial freedom, you'll understand how important mind setting is for guiding you to success.
Developing a wealth-conscious mind set first requires you to define wealth in your own terms. Is wealth to you making enough to take an annual vacation? Making millions of dollars a year? Everyone's definition of wealth differs based on their needs and desires. Someone who is single may have different financial goals than someone with a family of five. You can determine your own definition of wealth by reviewing the things you want to accomplish with your wealth. You may want to contribute to charitable organizations, travel, start your own business, or retire at a young age. Once you develop your goals and define wealth in your own terms, you can truly start using mind setting to help build wealth and prosperity.
Having a wealth-conscious mind set will also require you to commit to learning all that you can about wealth creation and management. This is especially important if you have not been financially stable in the past. There are many books and seminars available on wealth creation and management. Some of the resources available are solid references with a lot of valuable information. Then there are some resources that are nothing more than a way for their sellers to become wealthy. If you carefully choose your resources, you'll be able to use them to your advantage and learn new ideas about wealth creation.
If you want to have a wealth-conscious mind set, you should plan on creating wealth with integrity. Many people want to create wealth at any cost, including the expense of others. They use scams to get other people to spend their hard-earned money on shoddy products or useless services. You may be able to create some wealth using these techniques, but you'll also create a reputation for dishonesty. Your wealth will not be as satisfying if others don't trust you and you can't keep generating income from your efforts. You'll be able to enjoy your wealth much more if you have a clear conscious.
If you want to create wealth for yourself with integrity and honesty, developing a wealth-conscious mind set can help you understand what you need to do to achieve the level of wealth you desire. It can also help you to establish goals for yourself and make it possible for you to meet challenges head on until you achieve success.
